وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ: «إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيُدْرِكُ بِحُسْنِ خُلُقِهِ دَرَجَةَ الْقَائِمِ بِاللَّيْلِ الظَّامِئِ بِالْهَوَاجِرِ»
Through the same chain, it is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, a man attains through his good character the rank of one who stands (in voluntary prayer) at night and remains thirsty (fasting) in the heat of the day."
