Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 7674 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Nine

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah al-Bahili (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Nine angels are appointed over the sun who throw ice at it every day; were it not for that, it would burn up everything it fell upon."
