حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ بْنِ نَجْدَةَ، ثنا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ، ثنا عُفَيْرُ بْنُ مَعْدَانَ، عَنْ سُلَيْمِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ قَالَ: «إِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ أَمْرًا لَا تَسْتَطِيعُونَ تَغْيِيرَهُ، فَاصْبِرُوا حَتَّى يَكُونَ اللهُ هُوَ الَّذِي يُغَيِّرُهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you see a matter which you do not have the power to change, be patient until Allah Himself changes it."
