حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ الرَّقِّيُّ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ الرَّقِّيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْقُرْقُسَانِيُّ عَبْدُونَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْأَوْدِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ، ووَاثِلَةَ بْنِ الْأَسْقَعِ، وأَبِي أُمَامَةَ، وأَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالُوا: كُنَّا فِي مَجْلِسٍ فِيهِ نَاسٌ مِنَ الْيَهُودِ، وَنَحْنُ نَتَذَاكَرُ الْقَدَرَ، فَخَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ مُغْضَبًا، فَعَبَسَ، وَقَطَبَ، وَانْتَهَرَ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: «مَهْ مَهِ، اتَّقُوا اللهَ يَا أُمَّةَ مُحَمَّدٍ، وَادِيَانِ عَمِيقَانِ قَعْرَانِ مُظْلِمَانِ، لَا تَهْتَجُوا عَلَيْكُمْ وَهَجَ النَّارِ» ، ثُمَّ أَمَرَ الْيَهُودَ أَنْ يَقُومُوا، ثُمَّ قَالَ وَبَسَطَ يَمِينَهُ، وَبَسَطَ إِصْبَعَهُ الشِّمَالَ
ثُمَّ قَالَ: «بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ، هَذَا كِتَابٌ مِنَ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ بِأَسْمَاءِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ آبَائِهِمْ وَأَبْنَائِهِمْ وَعَشَائِرِهِمْ، فَرَغَ رَبُّكُمْ، فَرَغَ رَبُّكُمْ» ، ثُمَّ بَسَطَ شِمَالَهُ، ثُمَّ أَشَارَ إِلَيْهَا بِأُصْبُعِهِ الْيَمِينِ
ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ: «بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ، هَذَا كِتَابٌ مِنَ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ بِأَسْمَاءِ أَهْلِ النَّارِ، وَأَسْمَاءِ آبَائِهِمْ وَأَبْنَائِهِمْ وَعَشَائِرِهِمْ، فَرَغَ رَبُّكُمْ، فَرَغَ، رَبُّكُمْ، فَرَغَ رَبُّكُمْ»
ثُمَّ قَالَ: «بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ، هَذَا كِتَابٌ مِنَ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ بِأَسْمَاءِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ آبَائِهِمْ وَأَبْنَائِهِمْ وَعَشَائِرِهِمْ، فَرَغَ رَبُّكُمْ، فَرَغَ رَبُّكُمْ» ، ثُمَّ بَسَطَ شِمَالَهُ، ثُمَّ أَشَارَ إِلَيْهَا بِأُصْبُعِهِ الْيَمِينِ
ثُمَّ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ: «بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ، هَذَا كِتَابٌ مِنَ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ بِأَسْمَاءِ أَهْلِ النَّارِ، وَأَسْمَاءِ آبَائِهِمْ وَأَبْنَائِهِمْ وَعَشَائِرِهِمْ، فَرَغَ رَبُّكُمْ، فَرَغَ، رَبُّكُمْ، فَرَغَ رَبُّكُمْ»
Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda', Sayyiduna Wathilah bin al-Asqa', Sayyiduna Abu Umamah and Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with them) narrate: We were in a gathering in which some Jews were also present, and we were discussing predestination (qadar). Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came out to us in a state of anger; signs of displeasure and sternness were on his (peace and blessings be upon him) blessed face, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) rebuked us sternly, then said: "Enough, enough! O Ummah of Muhammad, fear Allah! They are two deep, dark valleys; do not kindle the blaze of the Fire upon yourselves." Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered the Jews to stand up. Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) spread out his right hand and pointed with a finger of his left hand,
then said: "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. This is a book from Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, in which are recorded the names of the people of Paradise, their forefathers, their children and their clans. Your Lord has finished (decreeing); your Lord has finished." Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) spread out his left hand, then pointed to it with a finger of his right hand,
then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. This is a book from the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, in which are recorded the names of the people of Hell, and the names of their forefathers, their children and their clans. Your Lord has finished; your Lord has finished; your Lord has finished."
then said: "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. This is a book from Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, in which are recorded the names of the people of Paradise, their forefathers, their children and their clans. Your Lord has finished (decreeing); your Lord has finished." Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) spread out his left hand, then pointed to it with a finger of his right hand,
then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
