حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ زِبْرِيقٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ ضَمْضَمِ بْنِ زُرْعَةَ، عَنْ شُرَيْحِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ خِدَاشٌ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، أَنَّهُ شَهِدَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ حَجَّةَ الْوَدَاعِ، فَكَانَ أَوَّلَ مَا تَفَوَّهَ بِهِ أَنْ قَالَ: «إِنَّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يُوصِيكُمْ بِأُمَّهَاتِكُمْ»
ثُمَّ حَمِدَ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: مَا شَاءَ اللهُ أَنْ يَقُولَ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: «أَلَا إِنَّ الْعَارِيَةَ مُؤَدَّاةٌ، وَإِنَّ الْمِنْحَةَ مُؤَدَّاةٌ»
«وَالْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ»
ثُمَّ حَمِدَ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: مَا شَاءَ اللهُ أَنْ يَقُولَ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: «أَلَا إِنَّ الْعَارِيَةَ مُؤَدَّاةٌ، وَإِنَّ الْمِنْحَةَ مُؤَدَّاةٌ»
«وَالْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he was present with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) at the Farewell Hajj, and the very first thing he (peace and blessings be upon him) said was: "Indeed, Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, enjoins you regarding your mothers."
Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) praised Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, then said what Allah willed, then said: "Listen! A borrowed item must be returned, and a minhah (an animal lent for its milk) must be returned,"
"and the child belongs to the (owner of the) bed (the husband), and for the fornicator is the stone (deprivation)."
Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) praised Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, then said what Allah willed, then said: "Listen! A borrowed item must be returned, and a minhah (an animal lent for its milk) must be returned,"
