حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ: «مَنْ رَمَى بِسَهْمٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، قَصَّرَ أَوْ بَلَغَ كُتِبَ لَهُ عِتْقُ رَقَبَةٍ»
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever shoots an arrow in the path of Allah, whether it falls short or reaches the target, the reward of freeing a slave will be written for him."
