Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 7565 — Abdullah bin Qami'ah struck the Messenger

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that Abdullah bin Qami'ah struck the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) with a stone on the day of the Battle of Uhud; he wounded him in his face and broke his front tooth (ruba'iyah), and said: Take that, and I am Ibn Qami'ah. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), while wiping the blood from his face, said to him: "What is the matter with you? May Allah humiliate you." So Allah set upon him a mountain goat, no ordinary goat, which kept butting him until it tore him to pieces.
