Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 7563 — the Prophet ﷺ forbade selling the shares

حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، وَالْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ، نَهَى أَنْ تُبَاعَ السِّهَامُ حَتَّى تُقْسَمَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade selling the shares of the spoils of war before they are distributed.
