Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 7554 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Whoever
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُقْبَةَ، ثنا حَكِيمُ بْنُ خِذَامٍ، ثنا الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ: «مَنْ عَفَا عِنْدَ قُدْرَةٍ، عَفَا اللهُ عَنْهُ يَوْمَ الْعُسْرَةِ»
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever forgives when he has the power (to retaliate), Allah will forgive him on the Day of Hardship."
