Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 754 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زَيْدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْحَوْطِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ، ثنا عُفَيْرُ بْنُ مَعْدَانَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ: «يَأْتِينِي جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ عَلَى صُورَةِ دِحْيَةَ الْكَلْبِيِّ» قَالَ أَنَسٌ: «وَكَانَ دِحْيَةُ رَجُلًا جَمِيلًا أَبْيَضَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say: "Jibril (peace be upon him) comes to me in the form of Dihyah al-Kalbi." Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "And Dihyah was a handsome, fair-skinned man."
