Companions Whose Names Begin with Sad (ص)
حبيب بن عبيد الرحبي، عن أبي أمامة
Habib bin Ubayd al-Rahabi from Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 7482 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Soon there
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِرْقٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ الْأَوْصَابِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حِمْيَرٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ: «سَيَكُونُ رِجَالٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي يَأْكُلُونَ أَلْوَانَ الطَّعَامِ، وَيَشْرَبُونَ أَلْوَانَ الشَّرَابِ، وَيُلْبِسُونَ أَلْوَانَ اللِّبَاسِ، وَيَتَشَدَّقَونَ فِي الْكَلَامِ أُولَئِكَ شِرَارُ أُمَّتِي»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Soon there will be men in my Ummah who eat all kinds of food, drink all kinds of drinks, wear all kinds of clothing, and speak with affectation and pretension. These are the worst of my Ummah."
