حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَتُّوَيْهِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، وإِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِرْقٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ الْأَوْصَابِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حِمْيَرٍ، ثنا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ قَالَ: «مَنْ مَاتَ مُرَابِطًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، أَمَّنَهُ اللهُ مِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْقَبْرِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever dies while guarding the frontier in the path of Allah, Allah will keep him safe from the trial of the grave."
