Raja bin Haywah from Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 7435 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Hold fast

حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ الْخَوْلَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِيِّ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ، قَالَ: «عَلَيْكُمْ بِقِيَامِ اللَّيْلِ، فَإِنَّهُ دَأْبُ الصَّالِحِينَ قَبْلَكُمْ، وَهُوَ قُرْبَةٌ لَكُمْ إِلَى رَبِّكُمْ، وَمَكْفَرَةٌ لِلسَّيِّئَاتِ، وَمَنْهَاةٌ عَنِ الْإِثْمِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah al-Bahili (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Hold fast to standing in prayer at night (tahajjud), for it was the way of the righteous before you, it is a means of nearness to your Lord for you, an expiation for evil deeds and a restraint from sin."
