حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ صَدَقَةَ، ثنا أَبُو حَفْصٍ عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ: يُقَالُ: «قُتِلَ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَلَاثٍ وَسِتِّينَ» وَالثَّبْتُ أَنَّهُ كَانَ ابْنَ ثَمَانٍ وَخَمْسِينَ "
Abu Hafs Amr bin Ali said: It is said that Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was martyred at the age of sixty-three, but the correct view is that he was fifty-eight.
