Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 7370 — from Sayyiduna Safwan bin Muhammad

Al-Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyiduna Safwan bin Muhammad (may Allah be pleased with him) that he went to his sheep and hunted two rabbits there, and he slaughtered them with a sharp stone (marwah). Then he brought them to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and hung them up, and said: O Messenger of Allah, I slaughtered them with a stone. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Eat them both."
