حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ، وأَحْمَدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَنْبَرٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ مَيْمُونِ بْنِ مُوسَى الْمُرَائِيُّ، قَالَ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي مَيْمُونُ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ قُدَامَةَ، قَالَ: هَاجَرَ أَبِي صَفْوَانُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ، وَهُوَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ، فَبَايَعَهُ عَلَى الْإِسْلَامِ، فَمَدَّ إِلَيْهِ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ يَدَهُ، فَمَسَحَ عَلَيْهَا، فَقَالَ لَهُ صَفْوَانُ: إِنِّي أُحِبُّكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ: «الْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ»
Sayyiduna Abd al-Rahman bin Safwan bin Qudamah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: My father, Safwan (may Allah be pleased with him), emigrated to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while he (peace and blessings be upon him) was in Madinah, and he pledged allegiance to him (peace and blessings be upon him) upon Islam. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) extended his hand towards him, and he passed his hand over it. Then Sayyiduna Safwan (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Messenger of Allah, I love you. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "A person is with the one whom he loves."
