It is narrated from Sayyiduna Safwan bin Assal (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah has a rooster whose head is beneath the Throne, whose wing is in the air and whose talons are in the earth. When it is the time before dawn, and after the prayers, it flaps its wing and raises its voice in glorification, and the roosters (of the world) crow, answering its glorification."
