Reports Safwan bin al-Muattal (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 7313 — the Prophet ﷺ said: When the sun rises

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ الْبَغَوِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ، ثنا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ الْمُعَطَّلِ السُّلَمِيِّ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ قَالَ: «إِنَّ الشَّمْسَ إِذَا طَلَعَتْ قَارَنَهَا الشَّيْطَانُ، إِذَا انْبَسَطَتْ فَارَقَهَا، فَإِذَا دَنَتْ لِلزَّوَالِ قَارَنَهَا، وَإِذَا زَالَتْ فَارَقَهَا، وَإِذَا دَنَتْ لِلْمَغِيبِ قَارَنَهَا، وَإِذَا غَرَبَتْ فَارَقَهَا» ، فَنَهَى عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ فِي تِلْكَ السَّاعَاتِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Safwan bin al-Mu'attal (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the sun rises, Satan accompanies it; when it climbs high, Satan parts from it. Then when it nears its zenith, Satan accompanies it, and when it passes the zenith, he parts from it. When it nears setting, Satan accompanies it, and when it sets, he parts from it." So he (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade praying at those times.
