صيفي بن صهيب، عن صهيب
Sayfi bin Suhayb from Suhayb (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 7272 — he said: I kept company

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْعَلَّافُ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ صَيْفِيٍّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، عَنْ أَبِي جَدِّهِ، عَنْ صُهَيْبٍ قَالَ: «صَحِبْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى الله عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمْ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُوحَى إِلَيْهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Suhayb (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "I kept company with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) before revelation came to him (peace and blessings be upon him)."
