Suwayd bin Hujayr (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from his maternal uncle, who said: I met the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) between Arafah and al-Muzdalifah, and I took hold of the nose-rein of his she-camel and said: O Messenger of Allah! Tell me something that will bring me near to Paradise and keep me far from the Fire. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Listen, by Allah! Although you have kept the question short, you have asked about something great and lengthy. Establish the obligatory prayer, pay the obligatory zakah, perform Hajj to the House, and whatever you would love people to do to you, do it to them, and whatever you would dislike people doing to you, do not do it to people. Now let go of the she-camel's nose-rein." Ibrahim bin al-Hajjaj (may Allah have mercy on him) said: And this hadith was also narrated by Sayyiduna Sakhr bin al-Qa'qa' al-Bahili (may Allah be pleased with him).
