Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 7210 — The Prophet ﷺ saw a man letting his lower

حَدَّثَنَا الْمِقْدَامُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الشَّرِيدِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: أَبْصَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلًا يُسْبِلُ إِزَارَهُ، فَأَسْرَعَ إِلَيْهِ , أَوْ هَرْوَلَ إِلَيْهِ , فَقَالَ: «ارْفَعْ إِزَارَكَ، وَاتَّقِ اللهَ» , قَالَ: إِنِّي أَحْنَفُ السَّاقَيْنِ تَصْطَكُّ رُكْبَتِي، قَالَ: «كُلُّ خَلْقِ اللهِ حَسَنٌ» قَالَ: «فَمَا رُؤِيَ ذَلِكَ الرَّجُلُ إِلَّا وَإِزَارُهُ إِلَى نِصْفِ سَاقَيْهِ، أَوْ يَضْرِبُ أَنْصَافَ سَاقَيْهِ» لَمْ يَذْكُرْ أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى فِي حَدِيثِهِ الشَّكَّ فِي عَمْرِو بْنِ الشَّرِيدِ، وَيَعْقُوبَ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Sharid (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a man letting his lower garment hang down, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) went to him quickly, or hurried to him at a run, and said: "Raise your lower garment, and fear Allah." He said: I have bowed shins; my knee knocks. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Everything Allah has created is good." The narrator said: After that, that man was never seen except that his lower garment reached halfway down his shins, or struck the middle of his shins.
