حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يَزِيدَ الْقَرَاطِيسِيُّ، ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ ثَعْلَبَةَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ الْخَثْعَمِيِّ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ الْعِجْلِيِّ، عَنْ شُفَيِّ بْنِ مَاتِعٍ الْأَصْبَحِيِّ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " أَرْبَعَةٌ يُؤْذُونَ أَهْلَ النَّارِ عَلَى مَا بِهِمْ مِنَ الْأَذَى، يَسْعَوْنَ بَيْنَ الْحَمِيمِ وَالْجَحِيمِ , يَدْعُونَ بِالْوَيْلِ وَالثُّبُورِ، يَقُولُ أَهْلُ النَّارِ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ: مَا بَالُ هَؤُلَاءِ قَدْ آذَوْنَا عَلَى مَا بِنَا مِنَ الْأَذَى؟ قَالَ: فَرَجُلٌ مُغْلَقٌ عَلَيْهِ تَابُوتٌ مِنْ جَمْرٍ، وَرَجُلٌ يَجُرُّ أَمْعَاءَهُ، وَرَجُلٌ يَسِيلُ فُوهُ قَيْحًا وَدَمًا، وَرَجُلٌ يَأْكُلُ لَحْمَهُ، قَالَ: فَيُقَالُ لِصَاحِبِ التَّابُوتِ: مَا بَالُ الْأَبْعَدِ قَدْ آذَانَا عَلَى مَا بِنَا مِنَ الْأَذَى؟ قَالَ: فَيَقُولُ: إِنَّ الْأَبْعَدَ مَاتَ وَفِي عُنُقَهِ أَمْوَالٌ إِلَى النَّاسِ مَا نَجِدُ لَهَا قَضَاءً أَوْ وَفَاءً، ثُمَّ يُقَالُ لِلَّذِي يَجُرُّ أَمْعَاءَهُ: مَا بَالُ الْأَبْعَدِ قَدْ آذَانَا عَلَى مَا بِنَا مِنَ الْأَذَى؟ فَيُقَالُ: إِنَّ الْأَبْعَدَ كَانَ لَا يُبَالِي إِنْ أَصَابَ الْبَوْلُ مِنْهُ لَا يَغْسِلُهُ، ثُمَّ يُقَالُ لِلَّذِي يَسِيلُ فُوهُ قَيْحًا وَدَمًا: مَا بَالُ الْأَبْعَدِ قَدْ آذَانَا عَلَى مَا بِنَا مِنَ الْأَذَى؟ فَيَقُولُ: إِنَّ الْأَبْعَدَ كَانَ يَأْكُلُ لُحُومَ النَّاسِ "
It is narrated from Shufayy bin Mati' al-Asbahi (may Allah have mercy on him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There are four people who will add to the torment of the people of Hell, on top of the torment they already suffer. They will run between the scalding water and the blazing Fire, crying out for ruin and destruction. The people of Hell will say to one another: What is the matter with these people, that they have tormented us further on top of our own torment? He said: There will be a man shut inside a coffin of embers, a man dragging his intestines, a man whose mouth flows with pus and blood, and a man eating his own flesh. He said: Then it will be said to the one in the coffin: What is the matter with this wretch, that he has tormented us on top of our own torment? He will say: This wretch died while he owed people wealth for which we find no settlement or repayment. Then it will be said to the one dragging his intestines: What is the matter with this wretch, that he has tormented us? It will be said: This wretch did not care if urine got on him; he would not wash it off. Then it will be said to the one whose mouth flows with pus and blood: What is the matter with this wretch, that he has tormented us? He will say: This wretch used to eat the flesh of people (that is, he used to backbite)."
