Shaddad Abu al-Mustawrid al-Fihri (may Allah be pleased with him); he is Shaddad bin Amr bin Hisl bin al-Ajabb bin Amr bin Shayban bin Muharib bin Fihr bin Malik
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 7079 — I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ السَّمَيْدَعِ الْأَنْطَاكِيُّ، وَنُعَيْمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الطُّورِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ النَّصِيبِيُّ، ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنِ الْمُسْتَوْرِدِ بْنِ شَدَّادٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: أَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَأَخَذْتُ بِيَدِهِ، فَإِذَا هِيَ «أَلْيَنُ مِنَ الْحَرِيرِ , وَأَبْرَدُ مِنَ الثَّلْجِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Shaddad, the father of al-Mustawrid (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: I came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and took hold of his (peace and blessings be upon him) hand, and it was "softer than silk and colder than snow".
