Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 7058 — from Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub

Through the same chain, it is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say: "I do not find any kind of animal of which a single one is better than a hundred of its companions, except man: one man is found to be better than a hundred men."
