Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 7046 — from Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub; he

Through the same chain, it is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him); he said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to forbid any of us from cutting a leather strap between his two fingers, and he would say: "There are two eyes in that (that is, a risk of harm)."
