Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 7042 — from Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub; he
اُردوEn
وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ، قَالَ: «إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَانَا مَرَّةً بِاللَّيْلِ وَنَحْنُ عَلَى حُفْرَةٍ نَازِلُونَ أَنْ نَأْكُلَ لَحْمَ حِمَارِ الْأَهْلِيِّ، وَأَمَرَنَا بِلَحْمٍ مَعَنَا , فَأَلْقَيْنَاهُ»
Through the same chain, it is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him); he said that one night, when we had camped by a pit, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade us from eating the meat of domestic donkeys, and he commanded us to throw away the meat we had with us, so we threw it away.
