حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى، ثنا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْمَكِّيَّ يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا اسْتَسْقَى قَالَ: «اللهُمَّ أَنْزِلْ فِي أَرْضِنَا زِينَتَهَا، وَأَنْزِلْ فِي أَرْضِنَا سَكَنَهَا، وَارْزُقْنَا وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed for rain, he would say: "O Allah, send down upon our land its adornment, and send down upon our land its tranquillity, and provide for us, for You are the best of providers."
