Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6863 — the Prophet ﷺ forbade tabattul

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade tabattul (abandoning marriage and cutting oneself off from the world). Then Qatadah (may Allah have mercy on him) recited this verse: "And indeed We sent messengers before you and gave them wives and offspring" [Surah al-Ra'd: 38].
