Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6852 — The Messenger of Allah ﷺ liked

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ الصُّورِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو الْجُمَاهِرِ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ: «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُعْجِبُهُ أَنْ يَلِيَهُ الْمُهَاجِرُونَ، وَالْأَنْصَارُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ لِيَأْخُذُوا عَنْهُ»
Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) liked that the Muhajirun and the Ansar should stand close to him (peace and blessings be upon him) in the prayer so that they could learn (the prayer) from him (peace and blessings be upon him).
