حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، وَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْمِصِّيصِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِنَّ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ حَوْضًا يَتَبَاهَوْنَ بِهِ، أَيُّهُمْ أَكْثَرُ وَارِدَةً، وَإِنِّي أَرْجُو أَنْ أَكُونَ أَكْثَرَهُمْ وَارِدَةً»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every prophet has a Pond, and they will vie in pride over which of them has the most people coming to drink at his Pond, and I hope that I will be the one among them with the most people coming to drink."
