Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6796 — the Prophet ﷺ said: The middle prayer
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَلْمٍ الرَّازِيُّ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ هَاشِمِ بْنِ مَرْزُوقٍ الرَّازِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «صَلَاةُ الْوُسْطَى صَلَاةُ الْعَصْرِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The middle prayer is the Asr prayer."
