حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبَّادٍ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ: «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى بِهِمْ فِي كُسُوفِ الشَّمْسِ، لَا يُسْمَعُ لَهُ صَوْتٌ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) led them in prayer on the day of the solar eclipse, and his (peace and blessings be upon him) voice could not be heard in it.
