Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 676 — We came from Kufah with Sayyiduna Anas
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، قَالَا: ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، ثنا أَنَسُ بْنُ سِيرِينَ، قَالَ: أَقْبَلْنَا مَعَ أَنَسٍ مِنَ الْكُوفَةِ، حَتَّى إِذَا كُنَّا بِأَطَّطٍ أَصْبَحْنَا وَالْأَرْضُ طِينٌ وَمَاءٌ، فَصَلَّى الْمَكْتُوبَةَ عَلَى دَابَّتِهِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: «مَا صَلَّيْتُ الْمَكْتُوبَةَ قَطُّ عَلَى دَابَّتِي قَبْلَ الْيَوْمِ»
Anas bin Sirin (may Allah have mercy on him) said: We came from Kufah with Sayyiduna Anas (bin Malik) (may Allah be pleased with him). When we reached Atat, morning came while the ground was full of mud and water, so he prayed the obligatory prayer on his mount, then said: "Before today I have never prayed an obligatory prayer on my mount."
