حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ السَّدُوسِيُّ، ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَا: ثنا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ، عَنْ مَعْبَدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ: «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى وَهَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite in the two Eid prayers "Sabbih isma rabbika al-a'la" and "Hal ataka hadithu al-ghashiyah".
