Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6739 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: These

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "These requests are a wound with which a man wounds his face, except that he asks someone in authority, or in a matter for which he has no alternative."
