Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6678 — Sulayk al-Ghatafani came while
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ الْفُرَاتِ الْقَزَّازُ، ثنا حَبَّانُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: " جَاءَ سُلَيْكٌ الْغَطَفَانِيُّ وَالنَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ، فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) says: Sulayk al-Ghatafani came while the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was delivering the sermon, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered him to pray two rak'ahs.
