Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6677 — A man came while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ، وَعَارِمٌ أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ، قَالَا: ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: جَاءَ رَجُلٌ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ النَّاسَ، فَقَالَ: «صَلَّيْتَ يَا فُلَانُ؟» قَالَ: لَا، قَالَ: «قُمْ فَارْكَعْ»
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: A man came while the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was delivering the sermon to the people. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O so-and-so, have you prayed?" He said: No. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Stand up and pray."
