حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: دَخَلَ رَجُلٌ الْمَسْجِدَ وَالنَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ قَائِمًا، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَصَلَّيْتَ؟» قَالَ: لَا، قَالَ: «فَصَلِّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ»
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) says: A man entered the mosque while the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was standing on the pulpit delivering the sermon on Friday, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "Have you prayed?" He said: No. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then pray two rak'ahs."
