سن عمر ووفاته، وفي سنه اختلاف رضي الله عنه
Age and death of Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), and the difference of opinion about his age
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 66 — Umar was martyred at the age of sixty-one.
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا أَبُو هِلَالٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، قَالَ: «قُتِلَ عُمَرُ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ وَهُوَ ابْنُ إِحْدَى وَسِتِّينَ سَنَةً»
Qatadah said: Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) was martyred at the age of sixty-one.
