Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6524 — One day I was present with the Prophet ﷺ

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ نُصَيْرٍ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الشَّاذَكُونِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ الدَّرَاوَرْدِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ سَبْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: حَضَرْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمًا يَقُولُ: «مَنْ كَانَ هَهُنَا مِنْ مَعَدٍّ فَلْيَقُمْ» ، فَقَامَ عَمْرُو بْنُ مُرَّةَ الْجُهَنِيُّ، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «اجْلِسْ» ، حَتَّى فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ ثَلَاثًا، ثُمَّ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «قُضَاعَةُ بْنُ مَالِكِ بْنِ حِمْيَرٍ»
Sayyiduna Sabrah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: One day I was present with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever here is from Ma'add (the descendants of Ma'add bin Adnan), let him stand up." So Amr bin Murrah al-Juhani stood up, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: "Sit down." He (peace and blessings be upon him) did this three times, then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "(You are from the descendants of) Quda'ah bin Malik bin Himyar."
