Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6507 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered us

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، ثنا نُعَيْمُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ سَبْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، قَالَ: «أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالِاسْتِمْتَاعِ فِي فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ، فَاسْتَمْتَعْنَا مِنَ النِّسَاءِ، ثُمَّ نَهَانَا عَنْهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sabrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered us to contract mut'ah at the time of the Conquest of Makkah, so we contracted mut'ah with women; then he (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade us from it.
