ثابت البجلي، عن سفينة
Thabit al-Bajali from Safinah (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6406 — he said: I was with the Prophet ﷺ when
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا ضِرَارُ بْنُ صُرَدَ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ، عَنْ شَقِيقِ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبَجَلِيِّ، عَنْ سَفِينَةَ، قَالَ: كُنْتُ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَجَاءَ عَلِيٌّ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ يَسْتَأْذِنُ، فَدَقَّ الْبَابَ دَقًّا خَفِيفًا، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «يَا سَفِينَةُ افْتَحْ لَهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Safinah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I was with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) came seeking permission (to enter) and knocked lightly on the door. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Safinah, open (the door) for him."
