Umar bin Safinah from his father
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6405 — he said: I ate the meat of a bustard

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ التَّمَّارُ الْبَصْرِيُّ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مَهْدِيٍّ، ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي فُدَيْكٍ، عَنْ بُرَيْهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ سَفِينَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، قَالَ: «أَكَلْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَحْمَ حُبَارَى»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Safinah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I ate the meat of a bustard (a kind of bird) with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
