Sayyiduna Salamah bin Nufayl (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I was sitting with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when he said: "It is revealed to me that I am about to be taken, without delay, and that you will follow me in group after group, some of you striking the necks of others. And there will always be people of my Ummah fighting upon the truth; through them Allah will cause the hearts of some people to deviate, and Allah will grant them provision from them, until the Hour is established, and until the promise of Allah comes."
"And goodness is tied to the forelocks of horses until the Day of Resurrection, and the heartland of the abode of the believers is in Sham (Syria)."
