حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ، ثنا الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا اشْتَدَّتِ الرِّيحُ قَالَ: «اللهُمَّ لَقَحًا لَا عَقِيمًا»
Sayyiduna Salamah bin al-Akwa' (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: When the wind blew strongly, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would say: "O Allah, make it a fertilising (rain-bearing) wind, not a barren one."
