Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6184 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Charity

حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ الرَّائِحِ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الصَّدَقَةُ عَلَى الْمِسْكِينِ صَدَقَةٌ، وَعَلَى ذِي الرَّحِمِ اثْنَتَانِ: صَدَقَةٌ وَصِلَةٌ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Salman bin Amir al-Dabbi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Charity to the poor is one charity, and to a relative it is two things: charity and the maintaining of family ties."
