حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الشَّامِيُّ الْكُوفِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، ثنا مِسْعَرٌ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي قُرَّةَ قَالَ: قَالَ سَلْمَانُ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ: " إِنَّ حُذَيْفَةَ كَانَ يُحَدِّثُ بِأَشْيَاءَ يَقُولُهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي غَضَبِهِ لِأَقْوَامٍ، فَقُلْتُ: يَا حُذَيْفَةُ لَتَنْتَهِيَنَّ أَوْ لَأَكْتُبَنَّ فِيكَ إِلَى عُمَرَ، وَقَدْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَنَا مِنْ وَلَدِ آدَمَ فَأَيُّمَا عَبْدٍ مِنْ أُمَّتِي لَعَنْتُهُ أَوْ سَبَبْتُهُ فِي غَيْرِ كُنْهِهِ فَاَجْعَلُهَا عَلَيْهِ صَلَاةً»
Sayyiduna Salman al-Farisi (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) used to narrate things that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had said in anger about certain people, so I said: O Hudhayfah! You will stop, or I will write about you to Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) has said: "I am one of the children of Adam, so any servant of my Ummah whom I have cursed or reviled when he did not deserve it, I will make it a mercy for him."
