Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6117 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: No people

حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ مُجَاهِدٍ الْبَصْرِيُّ، ثنا الْمُنْذِرُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الْجَارُودِيُّ، ثنا أَبِي، ثنا شَدَّادٌ أَبُو طَلْحَةَ الرَّاسِبِيُّ، عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَا رَفَعَ قَوْمٌ أَكُفَّهُمْ إِلَى اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَسْأَلُونَهُ شَيْئًا، إِلَّا كَانَ حَقًّا عَلَى اللهِ أَنْ يَضَعَ فِي أَيْدِيهِمُ الَّذِي سَأَلُوا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Salman al-Farisi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No people raise their palms to Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, asking Him for something, except that it is a duty upon Allah to place in their hands what they asked for."
