Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 6107 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said
اُردوEn
وَبِإِسْنَادِهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لِأَنْ يَمْتَلِئَ جَوْفُ أَحَدِكُمْ قَيْحًا، حَتَّى يَرِيَهُ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَنْ يَمْتَلِئَ شِعْرًا»
Through the same chain it is narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "That the belly of one of you be filled with pus until it corrupts it is better than that it be filled with poetry."
