Aws bin al-Hadathan al-Nasri, father of Malik bin Aws (may Allah be pleased with him): he is Aws bin al-Hadathan bin Awf bin Rabi'ah bin Sa'd bin Yarbu bin Wathilah bin Dahman bin Nasr bin Mu'awiyah bin Bakr

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْبَرْبَهَارِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَابِقٍ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنِ ابْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعَثَهُ وَأَوْسَ بْنَ الْحَدَثَانِ فِي أَيَّامِ التَّشْرِيقِ، فَنَادَيَا أَنْ: «لَا يَدْخُلَ الْجَنَّةَ إِلَّا مُؤْمِنٌ، وَأَيَّامُ مِنًى أَيَّامُ أَكْلٍ وَشُرْبٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent him and Sayyiduna Aws bin al-Hadathan (may Allah be pleased with him) during the days of Tashriq, and the two of them announced: "None will enter Paradise except a believer, and the days of Mina are days of eating and drinking."
